Kristin Davis

Kristin Landen Davis was born in 1965 in Boulder, Colorado. An only child, her parents
divorced when she was a baby and she was adopted by her stepfather after he married
her mother in 1968. Early in her childhood, Kristin and her parents moved to Columbia,
South Carolina, where her stepfather (a psychology professor) was transferred to a un-
iversity. She lived in South Carolina until she graduated high school in 1982. Kristin then
moved to New Jersey, where she attended Rutgers University. After graduation, she
moved to New York and waited tables before opening a yoga studio with a friend. In 1995,
she got her big break when she landed the role of Brooke Armstrong Campbell on "Mel-
rose Place" (1992). She left the show after one year when producers found that audience
members hated her bitchy character. In 1998, Kristin was cast as Charlotte York in "Sex
and the City" (1998), of which she remained an integral cast member until the series end-
ed in 2004. Kristin Davis currently resides in Los Angeles. She is unmarried and has no child-
ren. Ranked #42 in Stuff magazine's "102 Sexiest Women in the World" (2002).
Was the
only one of the four actresses of "Sex and the City" (1998) not to get an Emmy nomination
until 2004. She saw her three co-stars frequently nominated, but finally scored an Emmy
nomination for the show's final season. Enjoys a wide variety of music, from Dave Matthews,
to Brazilian music, to Joni Mitchell-type folk music and even Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

NicolaBetty.jpg

My final tattoo right now, more to come I'm sure, is my Art By
Olivia Bettie Page Portrait.

Bettie Page is one of my heroes because like myself she was
a well bred and raised a catholic girl who loved to get her picture
taken. I am now in love with photogaphy too!!

Also, she was the first official fetish model.
I myself am a fetish model!!

Nicola9.jpg

Lastly as far as piercing's, I like the ones I have chosen because
they are attractive, ears gaged, navel gage, hood, and labret.

I love corsetry surface piercing that I model because it is a very
spiritual experience for me and I believe has made me stronger
in my life endavors.

I have corsetted four times thus far and endured 80 piercings in
the last year!! I am mostly recognized for my 42 piercing corset
I sported for a Fetish event in PHX, AZ last winter!!

If anyone would like to contact me, feel free to do so on Myspace
or Inked Nation!!

   Drew Barrymoore
Let me start off with-Drew is one of my personal favorite actress's. Ok...she was born
in Culver City, California in 1975, and is steep in family tradition in film.
With a natural
flair for comedy and a warm, engaging demeanor, Drew Barrymore has come a long way
since her big-screen breakout in Steven Spielberg's Oscar-winning sci-fi adventure, E.T.
the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). Despite a troubled and much-publicized adolescence during
which she appeared in only a handful of films, Barrymore's star was officially on the rise
during the 1990s with notable roles in Poison Ivy (1992), Bad Girls (1994/I), Batman For-
ever (1995), Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You (1996) and Wes Craven's Scream
(1996). Higher-profile turns in The Wedding Singer (1998), Ever After (1998), Never Been
Kissed (1999), Charlie's Angels (2000), Riding in Cars with Boys (2001) and Donnie Darko
(2001) followed, proving to once-cynical audiences that Barrymore was not only a capable
leading lady, but also a gifted and versatile actor. Recent big-screen ventures included
50 First Dates (2004) with Adam Sandler and the Farrelly brothers' Fever Pitch (2005), as
well as Curtis Hanson's forthcoming Lucky You (2007) and Marc Lawrence's Music and Lyrics
(2007), co-starring Hugh Grant. Chosen by "People" magazine as one of the 50 Most Beaut-
iful People in the World in 1997. Owns her own production company, "Flower Films". Ranked
#5 in VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Kid Stars". Was ranked #3 in E's 50 cutest child stars all
grown-up (2005). Is the spokesperson of Lancome. Model for Missoni (2006).

ONE WOMAN'S TATTOO DIARY-ALL THIS WEEK
Featuring

Nicola A.K.A. niCOLa PiXiE
Phoenix Arizona
www.myspace.com/nicolapixie

As of right now I have 9 tattoo's. My very first was a butterfly
that I actually turned into a full pelvis piece later on.

The first butterfly represented me and of course is a symbol of
transformation, to show how I transformed from an unfortunate
Bipolar drug addict adolescent, into the intelligent adventurous
women I am now.

The second butterfly represented the love of my life, Allen Walker
Howey (R.I.P.), and what came between us is the star that combines
the butterflies with a vine which represents my ex. He was the only
thing that kept Allen and I together yet seperated us at the same time.
This piece was done by Tim of Heirarchy Tattoo. PHX, AZ

My second tattoo was done by my original artist Richard Clark,
which is my obligtory MOM tattoo, his shop is called Custom Fit.

JONATHAN:
You can click on the above banner to see what Nicola
is further about. Warning: You must be 18+ to enter site.

As to why I am devoting a whole week to this young lady is quite
simple. Nicola read last weeks Q of THE WEEK, and to a tee sent
me a "Diary". Text and plenty of photo's all on one reply to the Q.

More of Nicola tomorrow.

February 16
   Amanda Holden
British television actress, 'Sarah Trevanion' on last years show "Wild At Heart",
Amanda was born in 1971 in Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire, England. Trained to
be an actress for 3 years at London's Mountview Theatre School. Her first TV app-
earance was in 1990 at the age of 19 as an unsuccessful contestant on Cilla Black's
dating game show "Blind Date" (1985). She was nominated for a 2004 Laurence
Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Musical of 2003 for her performance in
Thoroughly Modern Millie performed at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
She and her hus-
band Les Dennis separated in 2002 following her affair with Neil Morrissey. They
divorced in November 2003. Announced her engagement to music producer Chris
Hughes back in late 2004. They are still not married-but Amanda gave birth to her
first child, Alexa Louise Florence Hughes (Lexi), on 21 February 2006. Personal
quote; "Doing Top Of The Pops is one of my ambitions but I don't want to be one of
those actresses who suddenly goes: "oh yeah, I always wanted to be a pop star".
I always wanted to show I could perform and then maybe release something once
I'd proved myself. Considering my age, I'm not going to wear crop tops and try to be
Britney. I like country but I don't think "Amanda Holden's Country Album" would be a
huge seller. Maybe a bit more of a crossover like Shania Twain. I wouldn't mind cov-
ering Dolly Parton's Nine To Five."

Birthday's today:
Ice-T, LaVar Burton, William Katt, Lisa Loring, Sam Rubin,
Andy Taylor (Duran Duran), John McEnroe, James Ingram, Teri Harrison,
Susanna & Jenny Kallur, Ana Maljevic, Vicki Butler-Harrison, Emily Harper,
Alyssa-Jane Cook, Cynthia Garrett, Alexa Kenin, Naomi Nishida, Tarita Virtue,
Tabatha Stevens, Gemma Gregory, Tony Kiley (Blow Monkey's) Sonny Bono (R.I.P.)

Q of THE WEEK: "TATTOO DIARIES" comes to a close

The Richard  (L) Montreal, Quebec Canada
www.myspace.com/thehairgod

RICHARD SAYS: Hi Jonathan. On my right shoulder stands
Joan Jett from her 80's era singing onto her mic (which
usually stiil gets a funny reaction from strangers as many
assume she is givin' head -heh-heh-heh!!!)

Always planned to meet Joan and have her sign my tat in order
to have her permanent autograph onto my skin. Which I did a
few years later, and may I add that she truly rocks !!! =)

On to my left shoulder stands the logo for my other Rock Icon;
Wendy O. Williams. I later had my x-gf (tatoo artist ; FreakyNat
from Montreal) add a negative imprint of Wendy licking a shotgun
with breast x-posed and electric tape over nipples. Flames from
x-plosion blasts surround her as a hollow would usually been seen
around the Virgin Mary. This will become an arm sleeve dedicated
to her.

Alot to cum such as buzz-saws, sledgehammers, Cadillac Coup
Deville's x-ploding everywhere. =)

Got a big star in flames onto my left forearm (black-orange-yellows)
and a cross bone skull onto my right (again, same colors).

This also by FreakyNat. Though I've got more judging them not really
important to mention, I regret nothing of ink onto me.

Well it's been fun but I've gotta run. =)
Take care

Lamia Cross Paris France
www.myspace.com/melamia

LAMIA SAYS: My first tattoo was a scorpion with fluorescent
white ink (which flashes with a Black light ^^) on my left chest.
Why a scorpion? Because I'm a scorpio.
Then I got a red rose with nails on my neck, right side. It's my
favorite flower.

I have a blue lilies with Tribal on my left thigh. it was on back of
the letter from Fab.

The story behind is...he has used to sent me his daily letters since
we had met in Paris 1993, because I was always living in Japan and
we didn't have Internet yet at the time. after several months of daily
posting he has no letter paper in house then he had started use what
he had found, some tattoo designs sheets "^^;

I had chosen one of my favorite to put it on me and had taken an in-
stant picture of my thigh, to send it to him.

I wanted to show him that I believe in us, on our "Long-distance Love"
so that he could drive the thoughts out from his head the thoughts which
would mess up my return, so that he wont give up and be sick with dread.

So, you can see only my two tattoos in general, my red rose on my neck
and my black spider on my left arm. Why a spider??? I like spider's attitude
^^ Being patient to get what he want.

I'm proud of all my inks done by the same Japanese tattoo artist, but I'm
so sorry I can't get his name in my head....lol

Dave Phoenix Arizona

DAVE SAYS: Tattoos are addictive. It's probably the coolest
addiction out there.

I have six of them.

Tina Texarkana
www.myspace.com/misstina3189

TINA SAYS:
I love Tatoos! I only have seven though and each
one are a specific meaning (long and hard decision!) But one in
particular that I am fond of (I am an insomniac), I have much
trouble sleeping, with the husband in Iraq...three teenage daug-
hters on the loose and all the terrors that go along with it.

I CANT SLEEP! What better way to express this anxiety, but with
the scariest clown on earth!

Done by my nephew Nate from Boleware and Bums Custom

in Texarkana,Texas!

JONATHAN: You can view Tina's tats on her profile.

ll Devil (L) El Mirage Arizona
www.myspace.com/lldevil1971

LL DEVIL SAYS:
Tattoo Diaries... certain sensations are
worth coming back for.

The undescribeable rush that charges through me when I get
my tattoo's and the pure enjoyment of seeing it on my skin.
That is why I started getting tattoo's.

I have my tattoo's placed so that you only see them if I want
you to see them. My tattoo's are just above my bum. I know,
go figure.

The first one is centered, it is my astological sign and it is in
purple, black and green and on each side of my sign there are
tribal dolphin's. They are in black. I plan on adding one more
piece to it to tie them together better. My ultimate vision is for
it to appear like when you blow smoke rings, smokey, drifty...
in motion.

I think that black looks better overall then the colored one I have,
only because now the colors are faded. My first tattoo was done in
a shop in Scottsdale. Not sure of the name - bad huh?!

I have the card somewhere. But, the tribal dolphins were done by
Terry aka Wookie at Club Tattoo located at 1212 E. Apache Blvd.

Terry is awesome!!

Tattoo's are addictive. Finding out what they mean to people is always
interesting too. I love 'em!

Artemisia Centre France
www.myspace.com/mariliartemisia

ARTEMISIA SAYS: Yes I am proud of my ink. Acting on and with
nature through art and skill is why. On my shoulder and back, a
bouquet of three thisles surrounded by their leaves.

I have a fascination for science art and nature. botanics. Passion
for late 19th et early 20th century art and architecture, paintings,
ceramics, sculpture, windows, mosaiks, iron, pics, furniture.
Modern style and art deco, medecine and history, ceroplasty, frag-
onard les corchs, etc.

The original inspiration comes from a picture I took of a ceramic on
a bulding in Brussels, mixed with a botanic drawing : D Grrr did a
great work on that drawing! He gave real power to it.

My preference? Colour. Or, black and white very contrasted, typo.
Luc from Tintin Tattoos in Paris for the first half. And Denis Grrr
for the second.

I'm not so much interested by piercing. Drawing on the skin inspires
me much more.

Q of THE WEEK: More "TATTOO DIARIES"
(see below for more)

Alicia Tucson Arizona
www.myspace.com/55011940

ALICIA SAYS: Well, I have a small rose tattoo. It looks more
like a tulip, so I will have have it transformed into one, eventually.

It's located on my lower front right bikini area. I got it when I was
18 and living in San Diego. I have NO idea what posessed me to do
it. I just did it. I have no regrets at all.

My nose is also pierced, as is my tongue, and 2 piercing's in each ear.
:D

Shawn Rock Manhattan Kansas
www.myspace.com/cherrybombd71

SHAWN SAYS: Tattoo's...love and hate them. Now, everybody
wants tattoos...dolphins...clovers...fairies...ugh.

I'd rather look at jailhouse tats then any of the above listed. Does that
make me a tattoo snob. No. I just like tattoo's that have a reason and a
meaning. I have 6 tattoo's...actually 7, but two have been merged to one!!

Different artists have worked on from Colorado Springs to Phoenix. My
brother (in spirit) Jody Wheatley gave me my first real tattoo. I say 'real'
tattoo...because my first tattoo was done on my wrist with a homemade
needle in a squatters house on the Ave in Seattle in 1986. Yeah...I was 15
...so what???? I also pierced my own nose back then...with ice!!

Fuck yes...punk rock!!

Anywho...my most precious is my Rolling Stone tat that Jody did on my hip
and my latest on my arm. A talented artist in Long Beach did my Aries tat
on my left arm, Kody Kushman at Outer Limits.

Then, I had the Goddess, Lilith designed by Robert Black of Stray Cat Tattoo
here in Manhattan, KS, put on my arm by Robert. He merged it with the Aries
tattoo that Kody did. They look beautiful and dark. Thank you!

Every tattoo I have has a special meaning to me. Two of them I got with one of
my best friends...twice!! My Lilith tattoo and my Aries tattoo signify...who I am
and the way I live my life.

Please hold your tattoo's dear to your heart...and wear them with pride no matter
what I think or anyone else!

Jules United Kingdom
www.myspace.com/julesrools

JULES SAYS: Hiya Jono. Well, I don't have any tattoo's other than
the short fella tattoed on my brain from "Fantasy Island" but my
new guy does, so I will endevour to give you a write up.

It's nice. It's a Pisces sign with water swirling around it and he added
some funky bubbles of his own design. He also has a tat of a cross on
his leg although he isn't religious, in memory of his grand parents and
his mate he nearly died with in a car crash (his mate didn't make it).

I want a floral tattoo just under my shoulder blade as the people he uses
do awesome floral without using black ink. Unlike me, the tattoo needs
to be sutble. hee hee!

C- Rod Charlottesville Virginia
www.myspace.com/crod66

C-ROD SAYS: Hey Jonathan, haven't been around for awhile, nice
question to come back to. :)

I got a couple dumb drunk & 16 tats that I'm not proud of, you know
the india ink kind. I had a pentagram on my hand but it was really bad
looking.

I recently got it covered up with a blackheart. I needed something that
would be a bit more acceptable by the conformists of our society so I
got a blackheart, also representing one of my fav bands.

Also have a cat on my side, claws out, designed to look like my cat I
found back in '86 that passed away in '98. On my arm I have a Walmart
smiley flipping the bird representing my years of torture working for
'Wally World', and since everyone tells me I have one I got a monkey on
my back, 'Chim Chim from Speed Racer, a fav cartoon from when I was
a kid.

Traci Northern Ireland
www.myspace.com/tracithepout

TRACI SAYS: I love tats and have 3 at the minute. 1st tat I had
was on my back 18 years ago. Is in colour of hearts and flowers.

2nd was the day I got divorced. Stopped off on my way home from
court. It's on my arm and is my fav...black. A large celtic design.

3rd is on my tummy, and again is a black cetic design.

Once u start it's hard to stop. They are so addictive. I want to get
another done sometime this year, but that will be my lot! ; )
(yeah right) lol

Gretchen Goodyear Arizona
www.myspace.com/azharleydiva

GRETCHEN SAYS:
Hi Jonathan! I LOVE my tattoos!!!! I'd be fully
sleeved if my husband wasn't so anti-tat!

I got my first one when I was 18. It's on my right shoulder blade. My
friend did it in his living room. heh. It was supposed to be an angel
with my daughter's name under it. When he was finished, however,
he informed me that he didn't know how to draw angels so he did a
butterfly. It was really ugly.

A couple of months later, I was living with my brother in South Carolina.
Tattoos are illegal there, but if you know the right people, you can get
one. So, I went to this dude's house and paid $20 bucks to have my tat
fixed up a bit. He added color to the butterfly and fixed up the lettering
a bit. It was still a crappy looking tat, but it was better than the original.

Last year, I finally got it covered. It's a collage of images that represent
my children. The first is the drama mask for my daughter...(she's 13...
need I say more?) The second element is the Cheshire cat for my son, TJ.
He has a smile that lights up the room. The third image is an angel. This
is for my youngest son, Trey. (I've considered adding devil horns to it, heh.)

Finally, there is a teardrop on the drama mask for my son, Nicholas, who
passed away in 1999. You can see before and after pics on my profile.

My most recent tattoo is on the top of my foot. It almost covers it. It is a
scale of justice with the words "Judge not lest ye be judged." I LOVE it.

Both my cover up tat and my tat on my foot were done by Alan at Bright
Ideas
on Central and Van Buren in Avondale. (NOT PHOENIX)

I highly recommend them. I also got my navel pierced there (a pic of that
is on my profile as well). Chaz does a great job with piercings
. They are all
very professional and I hope to get back there again soon!!!

Gretchen

Marie Atlanta Georgia
www.myspace.com/reezzie

MARIE SAYS: My first tattoo is on my lower back. It was suppose
to be continued but it hurt so bad I only had the center piece done.
I was on my way home from visiting my hometown Orlando and was
emotionally going through a tough time.

I had my daughter with me and I just pulled into the tattoo parlor and
looked through a book and found a pic I liked and she started working
on it.

My daughter who was 14 at the time held my hand the whole time and
when he finished we jumped into the car and headed back home to SC.

I was hooked then so I got my belly button pierced and 1-year later made
a trip back to Orlando and got the tattoo on my arm done, again on my
way home to SC.

The lady who did my tattoos is no longer there and I don't remember her
name so when I am ready for a new tattoo I will have to find someone new!

My tattoos helped me forget some of my emotional pain and helped me get
through some of my darkest days, but now I just enjoy their beauty.

I absolutely love tattoos!

RHETT SAYS: I have 5 tattoos. I am very proud of the quality
work my artist does. Rick "Gauge" Wyckoff is known as one of

as well. His knowledge is superior to most in the business, so I have
found in my own personal experiance. He only cares for the well being
of his clients.

All my tattoos are color. They are on my back, neck, arm, and chest.

Hey Jonathan, how have you been? Great
tattoos btw.

I have two also but would maybe like to get one more.
x

JONATHAN: Thanks Mary. I actually have my entire right arm and
shoulder and inside chest done. A Kanji, on back of my neck. My left
arm, shoulder and inside chest is almost complete sleeve from wrist
as is my right. My left shoulder extends up my neck under ear.
My left leg from ball of foot to knee is a large cobra,
and my right
leg is the old WWF logo and barbed wire above that. LOL-I thought this

was the opportunity to mention mine. ;-) Do get some more, you will
enjoy it.

Susan Southern California

SUSAN SAYS: I have two orange, white and black koi in the shape
of Pisces. Back left shoulder. I also have a red star with "SAINT" in
the middle. (Not going to explain that one, sorry) Back also.

They are both 5x5 or maybe larger. Next one is happening in the next
month. It will be a Lotus flower on back right shoulder. I will also be
getting my dog's paw print.

I have no preference when it comes to color or no color. But symmetry
is a must. More than one, is a must also. One tattoo looks SO lonely.

Bill at Tattoo Asylum in Venice, CA did both.

He designed and drew the koi.

Christina Ricci
Precocious, outspoken child-teen starlet of the 1990s, Christina Ricci was born in
1980 in Santa Monica, California, the youngest of four children of a lawyer father
and realtor mother. She made her screen debut at the age of 9 in Mermaids (1990),
in which she worked with Cher. Her breakthrough adult role was in The Ice Storm
(1997), in which she plays a nymphet who skillfully seduces two brothers. She work-
ed with Johnny Depp and Casper Van Dien in the Tim Burton film Sleepy Hollow (1999).
Candid and controversial, as well as a highly skilled actress, Christina was much in de-
mand by film makers in the late 1990s. In 1999, at the age of 19, she directed and wo-
rked on the screenplay for the movie Asylum (1997/I). A compulsive talker and smoker
who seems to have a new and refreshing view on every subject, the buxom Christina is
becoming a top box office draw and seems to be destined for superstardom in the new
century.
Pennsylvania rock band Anthrophobia has a song about Christina on their 1999
release, "In The Zero To 3 Movement." The song is called "Ricci" and it appears as track 3.

Was #97 on VH-1's "100 Greatest Kid Stars" (2005). Was quite interested in buying my
house in 2005 in Los Feliz (Los Angeles), but decided not to. It was too modern for her.

For the second that I carry in my back, my Tankgirl adored! (which
resembles to me much in the character!) and for the third, the my
Manta encrusted with three heads of Tiki which I also carry in my
back, as you will have understood, are my childrens carried by their
mother.

I'm a girl of the sea, and it's for me an essential element to be able to

Keren Stroud United Kingdom
www.myspace.com/kezisyours

KEREN SAYS: Wow u ready for this??? lol -I have 5 tattoo's and
14 piercing's.

First tat I had was when I was 30. It's a white horse on my shoulder.
The reason behind this is that I'm from Kent and the white horse is the
emblem for Kent, and as I live 175 miles away now, it reminds me of
my roots

Second tat, is Aerosmith wings logo on my lower back. This tat is for my
fave band. Simple as that.

Third tat, trailing shamrocks that start just above my left breast. Covers it,
goes down ribs, thigh and finishes just short of my knee.

I got this tat done as I really do love Ireland. I've had some magical times
there. It feels like home.

Fourth tat, my 2 boys names in elvish text off lord of the rings. I designed
the bands above and below which have their birth signs in, and the area in
between is infilled wiv bio mechanical stuff.

Fifth tat is my name in Sri Lankan. My parents went there for a holiday and
had a nacklace made for me. So I used that for the tat and had it infilled
with the stars n' stripes as I'm born on the 4th of July.

I have plans for another tattoo, which is a naked vampire woman wiv leather
look wings...but need to save up some money first.

I really do think it depends on the artwork whether to be colour or black &
white. I have a few coloured and a few black & white.

I am very proud of my artwork, apart from when my parents visit or I go see
them, as they dont know I have any tats!!!
They would go mad if they found
out, as they went mad when I had piercings!!

All my tats have been done by my good friend now...Q of Q's Tattoos in
Stroud
, Gloucestershire.

As for piercing's, well I started when I was 8 with my ears, then again ears at
11 and again at 21.
I then got nose pierced at 26, and then when I hit my 30's,
I then went beyond and had body piercing's.

I luv all my piercings. I have eyebrow, nose, tongue and madonna which are
visable and tastefully done.

Then I have some others which are out of sight. hehehe

Tat pics on my profile x

Em United Kingdom

EM SAYS: Ok, I've got Wisteria on my right shoulder, etched by
Sabado at Eccentric Super Tattoo in Nagoya, Japan.

I got it as a permanent reminder of my years in Japan. Would
love to get more along the same theme and eventually have my
entire back covered with art.

Have a couple of other small, black tattoos, but love colour best.

Tamera (aka The Minx) Memphis Tennessee
www.myspace.com/ladyl33ta

TAMERA SAYS: Great question, Jonathan!!! I am indeed proud of
my ink!!! They express my fascination with and love of ancient
Egyptian art.

I have a Scorpion on the back of my neck (my horoscope sign). A
winged scarab (for a safe journey and keeper of the soul) in the small
of my back. An ankh (life) on my left ankle, the eye of horus (protection)
on my right ankle, and Bast (defender, cat lover), on my left upper arm.

I'd love to get more! I want a pyramid with the sphinx and palm trees. I'd
also like to have my name in hieroglyphics.

I prefer colour. although, my Bast tat looked really cool when it was j
ust
the black outline and partially filled in! Plus, I was informed by my tattoo
artist that I have perfect skin for colour!

I got my ink done at Irezumi Body Art, 1603 Westport Rd, Kansas City,
MO. Blake did a couple and Steve did the rest. The website is still under
construction. www.irezumikc.com
(but more contact info can be found there!)

I have piercing's also. 15 total! 9 in my left ear, 2 in my right, 2 in my left
nostril, my tounge and my navel. I only wear the navel, tounge and my first
holes in my ears...which are guaged to 0's.

So, yeah! That's about it!!!

cheers! xxx T

Silverose United Kingdom
www.myspace.com/silverose65

SILVEROSE SAYS: Hello. You asked about body piercing's as well
as tattoo's.
Okay, well I'm most proud of my belly button piercing.
It was a spur of the moment decision.

We went out for the day to Bury st Edmunds, and my son had his
lip pierced at a very busy tattooists [and piercings] in a side street.
Very friendly owners, really nice, but I'm sorry I don't remember the
name of the shop.

My husband and my two young daughters watched, and I watched, took
some pics, and when out of the shop shared once again my desire to have
my belly button done.

My son gave me the money, bless him, as an advanced birthday present,
and so we all marched back in to the shop. I chose a purple crystal stud,
then lay back showing the world my 'mummy belly' and so for my 41st
birthday, I had my belly button pierced.

I am very proud. I want to go back when I'm feeling full of courage and
have a tattoo done on the top of my right bum cheek (hmmmm, maybe
you didn't need to know that-lol) of the elven star and a crescent moon.

The Elven star? Because that's a symbol of the faith I follow, it could equally
be a pentacle, and the crescent moon? Because she is so beautiful. Didn't
want a full moon, I thought it'd look like a cream bowling ball on my butt.

I think that'll be another spur of the moment thing.

demon tattoo on his left bicep so it is also in memory of him.

The work was done by Buki at Sacred Skin in West Allis,

Jay (aka Nailingi Yo) London England
www.myspace.com/bluejaykay

JAY SAYS: Ok Jon...so you have me hooked now...your question!
I love it that you sent this one the day after I had my nipples pierced so
it's totally appropriate.

Yes my nipple's hurt like (almost) hell now...they are very sensitive but
that's something you're sitting there and thinking: "now did I really need
to know that"... hehe

Each one of my tattoos have a meaning for me. At the moment I have
14 tattoos tho some of them have become combined into one each time
it's been added to,
and I have 16 piercings.

Again they each have significance for me. My first ever tattoo was done
after I said to another girl "if ever I find a good tattooist in a clean shop
I'll get a tattoo. She found a good tatooist in a clean shop the following
week out Kingston Upon Thames way. And, he was situated near a pub
we used to work at through a dancing agency. So, I said next time the
agency sends me out to the pub for an all day booking I'll get a tattoo.

The following week. Yep...I was sent out to this pub for an all dayer...so I
ate my words.
Worked on my own design and took it with me.

Apart from this one first ever tattoo on my hip...
all my tattoos have been
done by Dave at Piercing Tattoos which is in Crawley, West Sussex. He
is one of the best, if not the best artist I have come across in the tatoo world.
www.myspace.com/piercing_tattoos

He will happily work with customers to create something they want and keep
it original when it's a personal tattoo that he's been asked to do (as opposed
to a commercially designed tattoo).

He is on my friend's list for anyone who wants to know BTW...so check him out
through my link there...and yes he has been a friend of mine now for a good
many years. I trust him completely when it comes to inflicting my body with pain!

Other tattoo's I have are on my shoulder, my middle back, my tummy and the top
of each arm. I think all of my tats can be seen in my photos on myspace. I plan
to have more tats done in future. In a way it becomes an addiction - albeit one
that does no harm to anything other than your bank balance!

Apart from the 12 piercing's in my ears (the first was when I was 12 and back then
they still used to use the freeze spray), Dave does all my piercing's. He takes the
time to make sure they go in straight and will look good rather than rush the job.

My most private piercing was done when I was in a f*** you JC mood.
My nips have
been done now as a way of telling me to be proud of them after having had two kids.
As was my belly when I got that done so long ago. My tongue I did when a girlfriend
and me dared each other to do it. But, I think that one is my favourite piercing of all.

Big ki
sses,
Jay

GILZ SAYS: Hi Jonathon. I love tattoos, I got my first while I was at
school. Small rose on my arm. At 20 I got a panther on my right shoulder.
I have to say I am not as happy with then as the ink quality is not the best.

In '03 I got roses across my lower back the design was taken from one of
my mums paintings. Tattoo done by Lorraine @tattooes by Lorraine in
Hamilton (South Lanarkshire).

I live in organsided chaos and am running out of space in the house so for
my Christmas my husband got me tattoo's. I got another rose, this time at
the back of my neck done by Graham at Screamin Skull Tattoo (Lanark) www.myspace.com/screaminskulltattoo.

I am in the middle of getting the other on my arm to cover the rose I got
done at school. The original artwork by Linda Ravenscroft, ink being done
by Graham.

Had the line work done and getting the colour done on Wednesday.

Something tells me this won't be my last tattoo, it is addictive.

Debra Chicago Illinois

DEBRA SAYS: I absolutely love ink. It's a permanent work of art
that I will carry with me the rest of my days.

If I were male, I would be covered in tattoos. Since I am female :)
-I decided to get mt tattoo on my ribcage where it is only visible if
I choose it to be.

It is black and grey and tends to have more of a portrait look rather
than a cartoon look to it. I am so happy with it that I will be getting
another on the other ribcage.

(scroll down to yesterday for full Q)

Jan (aka The Girl who was...) Northwest United Kingdom
www.myspace.com/missrascale

JAN SAYS: Yes, I am very proud of my ink. I have 11 tattoos and
I like them all.

I've just had one on my right upper arm/shoulder which I love and
my other particular favourite is a large design on my left shoulder
blade. My tattoos are on my back, upper arms and left wrist.

Oh, and a small one on my stomach which is the only one with any
meaning behind it as it incorporates what looks like a Z. I had it done
for my daughter.

I like colourful tattoos...and yes I would like more.

Most of my tattoos have been done by Ash who works in the town
where I live (Warrington).

Yeah, basically I love tattoos!!

GINA SAYS: Hi Jonathan, I have two tattoos, but I am a work in
progress. One is my fathers infantry division patch from WW2. He
was in the Red Bull Division in Italy.

The other is the start of my sleeve, which is also custom and pictured
on myspace. Color is my thing, but the black and grey work is also
phenomenal if you find the right artist.

My husband, Ron Cassity, has done all of my work. Ron specializes in
fine line multiple color work. Everyone asks if they are real or stickers.

Ron is a Sturgis artists, who worked with the late R.J. Rosini (the Gypsy
Tour), and will be working with Judy Parker this coming August at (the
Dungeon) in Sturgis.

Currently, our home studio is located in Morristown, TN. It's called

We are proud to announce a new member to our tattoo family. Gentleman
Jim Skija, nationally known flash artist and one of the best black and grey

Alister (from The Eden Project) Patchogue New York
www.myspace.com/9132804

ALISTER SAYS: I'm very proud of the work I have. My right sleeve
is almost done. My left forearm is done and have scattered pieces
on my chest and upper left arm.

I prefer B & W. As long as the $ is flowing, I'm not stopping till I'm
covered.

I have a good and evil theme working my evil side on the right and
the good on the left and eventually will lead to my back with a great
fight scene between the two.

I started doing homemade tats with my friends (indian ink, thread and
needle. It was cool, but then they just looked like bad prison tats. So,
I had them covered and wanted to have things to remember time with
(most of my brain cells are gone from the good old daze.- lol).

Then I wanted to get creative and theme things out. I got my 1st big
piece by Johnathan Shaw in NYC. Then I went to Cliff Tattoos on
Long Island and got ink by Tim who turns out was John's apprentice.

Tim has his own shop now and I get my ink done by him.

reason behind it. Getting more?

name, address, phone, or e-mail

MISS PINK SAYS: I have a large tattoo on my back of a faery.
The original artwork was drawn by Brian Froud and the ink was
done by Pete Colwell, Birkenhead UK. I had loved the picture as
a child and always wanted it inked on me.

I will soon be getting more work by Richie at Tribalife

of the best there is.

Anyone in Atlanta, Georgia, should check out Dietsch at Skinwerks

create the tattoos, so no flash for me.

NICK SAYS: Yes, I am very proud of where my work stands at
this point, and it will only keep getting better. As far as ink thats
on my body, I regret no tattoo on my body.

If anything I only wish I could make the tattoos I already have on
me, BETTER! They have no meaning behind em, it's all shit I like
to look at.

Is color or black & white my preference? COLOR!! COLOR!! COLOR!!

I'd rather not credit the artist that did most of my work. That
mother f*cker was on crack , the only real tattoo artist I can give
acknowledgement for is one tattoo I got, by Denis at
Incognito tattoo

I got pierced at my own shop. Just my lip.

Alabama Jones Reading England

ALABAMA SAYS: oohhhh it's a thinker!!!!

Well I think Simon (Shaun of the Dead) Peggs new film
HOT FUZZ is going to be very hot. You probably won't get it
for a few weeks in America!!

And, with all that Big Brother stuff going on in England, Celebrity
Bullies (as is all bullies) are very NOT hot!!!

Colin Murray's evening shows on Radio1 are very very very in, and
if you love new music also check out Zane Lowe on Radio1 (don't worry
Jonathan, competition is healthy!!!)

As always the war is out! Too many dead to many lifes destroyed that
is so not cool!!!

JONATHAN:
Yes Alabama, it is a thinker. I think that's why this Q
bombed big time. Will only last a week. I love your response. Yes,
competion is good. I agree. And, Simon's BBC America TV show
"Spaced" ROCKS! I watch it every Friday night. 30-minutes of heaven. ;-)

Liu Liu Riverside California
www.myspace.com/empressliuliu

LIU LIU SAYS: The only thing I can think of... Perhaps because I
am listening to it and have had it on a constant loop for the past
couple months is... Continuum. John Mayer's latest CD.

The entire CD is amazingly hot, but the 2nd track... "I Don't Trust
Myself (With Loving You)" is quite possibly the hottest song I have
ever heard. I was not a fan previously and now I am obsessed.

That's a difficult question. It's not easy to go from Hot to Not so
quickly. Hmm...how about Screamo? I don't get it. If I want to hear
screaming...I can just go to work.

I have probably 2,000 CD's, of all genres of music. Not one is Screamo.

Angie Atherstone East United Kingdom
www.myspace.com/angie72

ANGIE SAYS:
Hi there Jonathan. Well now I've had my 6th coffee,
I'm feeling a little more awake. So here's my opinion on whats hot
or not.

Hot:
1. Borat ~ How does he get away with what he does, especially
with the Pamela Anderson stunt. Hilarious.

2. "Rocky Balboa" ~ Excellent film...a bit slow to start with tho.

3. The View ~ These guys have come from nowhere. My brothers band
supported them autumn last year and nobody really knew who they were.
They've come a really long way in a short amount of time. (*I have been
playing them on my shows. They are from Dundee, Scotland-JL)

4. Red Hot Chili Peppers ~ They'll always be hot...the greatest band ever!

Not:

Can only really think of one and that is;

1. "Celebrity Big Brother" ~ I'm normally a huge fan of BB but this year
has been diabolical. The house mates have no personalities and the fuss
made over Jade and Shilpa was just one big joke. I can't believe it was the
main subject on every news channel and Houses of Parliament when there's
much bigger things happening in the world..such as the war in Iraq.
Completely outrageous.

Take care friend. x

Alex Falkirk Scotland
www.myspace.com/alextgirl

ALEX SAYS: I'm not one for bringing anyone down, so will miss out
who and what I think isn't hot, and who is not in.

However, I will give my opinions on who I think is hot.
Music wise I couldn't agree more with Madonna being the top pop artist,
and being a clubbing chic myself, totally agree with Bob Sinclar being
the top DJ.

Film wise I think Martin Scorsese will get the top Director award for
"The Departed", but if I followed my heart it would go to my all time hero
Clint Eastwood. Top actor I would give to Will Smith for "The Persuit",
with top leading female role going to Helen Mirren for The Queen.

The best supporting role has to go to Jennifer Hudson for Dreamgirls.

For TV, I'm going to go for a very personal choice that likely will not make
it into the list, but my vote goes for Nip/Tuck, which I think has fab story
lines, fab acting, and above all the most gorgeous man in the world Julian
McMahon who plays the very dishy Doc Christian Troy. Oh what I would do
to spend a night with that man, lol.

To finish on a serious note I will say one thing that should be OUT. Get our
men OUT of Iraq, because enough have died over there as it is.

Luv, Alex. xxx
